Laurence Buck, Electronics Technician

Larry Buck is an Electronics Technician in the CNST NanoFab Operations Group, where he is responsible for the maintenance and upgrade of all machine tools and laboratory support equipment in the NanoFab. He has been at NIST for over 20 years, and has been involved in the NanoFab since its inception. Prior to joining the CNST, Larry was the IT coordinator for the Semiconductor Electronics Division in the NIST Electronics and Electrical Engineering Laboratory, where he was responsible for managing the Division’s computer assets and networking operations. Earlier in his career Larry worked with copy-duplicating equipment and word processor equipment, and was a licensed Airframe and Power plant technician. Larry served in the U.S. Air Force from 1966 to 1970.
