I. Logging in to xReporter

xReporter may be accessed by clicking here. There is also a direct link from the main page of the Nanofab website.

At the welcome screen, please enter your login information (Figure 1). The system will allow you to log on using either your NIST domain account or your NIST email account. It is not necessary to specify which account you are using. Once you have entered this information, press "Submit query" to log in to the system.

NOTE: xReporter issues a ticket to each user upon login. If your ticket expires during your session, you may get an error message when attempting to view the login page. Should this occur, please take a direct link back to the login page to ensure that a new ticket is issued.

III. Running a report
Once a datasource has been chosen, a list of all available reports will be presented (Figure 3). Click on the name of the report to enter input parameters and generate data.

Note: Certain reports require special privileges (e.g. staff, admin) to be run. If you do not have the correct permissions to run a certain report then it simply will not appear.

Note: Only parameters followed with an asterick (*) are required.

Note: Accounting reports must be run with their beginning and ending dates falling on the first of the month. For example, 11/1/05 is acceptable, but 11/30/05 is not.

For XML, Excel, and .pdf output simply click on the link beside the file icon. For text output, select the appropriate encoding, line separator, separation character, and titles option. Click on the button which says Get Text.
